Today, Nicolás Valiente, an early-career scientist and now a professor at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, gave an insightful lecture at the Emiliano Aguirre Auditorium at the National Museum of Natural Sciences. 🌍🦠
He shared his fascinating research on microbial diversity in Arctic lakes, exploring how these resilient microorganisms adapt to extreme conditions and their essential role in maintaining the ecosystem's balance. Nico's talk also highlighted the importance of studying these organisms to better understand the impacts of climate change.
