We are very happy to announce that MLab is now part of RIOBIC – the Ibero-American Network of Biodiversity and Global Change Observatories. The network brings together researchers from across Ibero-America with the aim of strengthening scientific monitoring of biodiversity and understanding the impacts of global change on ecosystems.

This August, members of MLab took part in the 12th SCAR Open Science Conference & Meetings, held in Oslo, Norway, from 8–19 August 2026, bringing together the international Antarctic research community under the theme "Diving into Antarctic Science – Making Waves for the Future."
