The Mlab at the XVIII RJB-CSIC Science Marathon

Sergio and Marc took part in the XVIII Scientific Marathon RJB-CSIC, sharing their research and passion for science with a wide audience 🌱✨

Sergio presented a detailed talk on the microbiome of the salp Salpa thompsoni 🧬🌊, while Marc focused on microbial communities in the South Orkney Islands ❄️🦠. Both talks highlighted the importance of microorganisms in polar marine ecosystems.

It was an incredible and rewarding experience, and a wonderful opportunity to share science and connect with others in such an inspiring environment 💙📢
